the artefacts is a narrative project, envisioning a religion based on the changing of genders; the transformation of bodies. we exist in a time where we can modify our biologies and our realities.. there is something already almost god-like about that. i wanted to take that further with this project. i am interested in repetitive imagery, something that you see in religious art work. i wanted to narrow down a few key symbols that would represent my trans religion hence the crown, the net, the angelic figure.
